My story

Why I built this site

In March 2020, I contracted COVID-19 and never fully recovered. What followed was severe long COVID, an illness I faced entirely on my own. There were no dedicated clinics, few clear answers, and no one to point me in the right direction.

For over four years, I suffered immensely.

Early in that journey, I set out to build the resource I wish I'd had.

A patient perspective

Guided by lived experience

Every resource on this site is chosen through the lens of lived experience. I bring together reputable information that already exists, link you directly to its original source, and present it from a patient perspective: what matters, what helps, and where to turn next. Alongside it, I share my own journey and the stories of others living with long COVID.

Who I am

A patient, not a physician

I write from the patient perspective, informed by years of lived experience with severe long COVID. I am not a physician or medical professional, I do not produce medical information, and nothing on this site should be taken as medical advice. The site is independently created and maintained by me alone.

How the site is funded

Independently funded

This site is funded entirely by me. It has no outside funding, no sponsors and no advertising, and I receive no financial benefit from it.

Readers who wish to support the site may do so through Buy Me a Coffee; every contribution goes directly toward hosting and the administrative costs of keeping it running.
