How I gather information
Long Covid Resources Canada does not create medical information. Instead, I gather what has already been published by trusted sources, organize it in one place, and link you directly to the original.

My guiding principles
- Primary sources, alwaysClinic, study and resource listings are drawn from the Public Health Agency of Canada, provincial health services, clinics, universities conducting research, published scientific research and established support organizations, and I always link directly to them.
- Kept currentI review clinic and study listings regularly, remove studies once recruitment has closed, and note when each page was last updated.
- Experience, clearly labelledPersonal stories, including my own, are shared as lived experience and never as medical advice.
- Prompt correctionsIf you notice anything outdated or inaccurate, please email admin@longcovidresourcescanada.ca and I will correct it promptly.
An important distinction
I am a long COVID patient, not a physician or medical professional. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice; please consult your healthcare provider about your care.
Independent by design
No organization pays to be listed, and inclusion is not an endorsement. The site carries no advertising, and I receive no financial benefit from it.
How listings are chosen, checked and removed
- Public programs firstThe clinic directory lists public clinics, hospital and health authority programs, and government services first. Where a province or territory has no public long COVID clinic, the directory says so clearly.
- Private providers, by request and after reviewPrivate clinics and practitioners are listed only when they ask to be, and only after I review them. Their listings are always marked “$ Paid”. No one pays to be listed.
- How often I recheckResearch studies every month, clinics every three months, and guides and organizations every six months. Each check opens the official page and compares cost, referral rules, eligibility and contact details.
- How removals workA listing is removed when a program closes, stops taking new patients, or cannot be confirmed after two checks in a row. Private listings are also removed if the provider asks, or no longer meets these criteria.
My role with CAN-PCC
I am a member of the CAN-PCC Guideline Team for clinical interventions, the group that develops Canada’s post COVID-19 condition guidelines. I share that so you can weigh my perspective.
The CAN-PCC guidelines are an important step, but they still have gaps and some inconsistencies with other expert guidance, especially for people with post-exertional malaise. Helping patients find what those guidelines leave out is one of the reasons I made this site.

Know of a clinic, study or resource I should include?
I would welcome hearing about anything that has helped you.
